This research focuses on the study of historical and social conditions of economic and sustainable enhancement of the cultural of the portuguese-spanish border, tourism touted by the recollection of smuggling and illegal immigration experiences of Portuguese intra- European practices.It contextualizes in a theoretical and practical perspective, memories of smuggling and illegal migration, based on a case study of Melgaço.
