Our organisation
The IEHCA, founded by the French education ministry in partnership with the Centre-Val de Loire Region and the University of Tours, is a scientific and cultural development agency working to encourage university research and education into “food culture and heritage” in the human and social sciences.
We provide a privileged forum to meet and exchange research, and work to promote food heritage and the societal issues it raises.
The IEHCA’s international network enables it to act as a benchmark European centre.
